The Fashion Design course at LCCA will introduce you to the design processes used when creating garments, covering a variety of topics from colours and silhouettes to prints and fabrics. You will also explore the processes crucial to bringing a concept into reality. Once you have completed the course, you will have the ability to research fashion thoroughly and create beautifully designed garments.
This course will introduce you to the basics of the design processes used when creating garments, covering a variety of topics from colours and silhouettes to prints and fabrics. Once these concepts have been covered you will explore the processes behind creating a concept and, subsequently, making it a reality. You will learn what it takes to create a single, stylish garment as well as how to create the perfect capsule collection.
Once you have completed the course, you will have the ability to research fashion thoroughly and create beautifully designed garments. You may begin to seek a beginner’s role within the industry or may even progress to study higher level design courses.
Minimum age: 18 years of age, English proficiency: intermediate and eligile to study in the UK.
