This MSc/ PGDip Medical Laboratory Science prepares you to work in the exciting field of clinical laboratories. What clinical laboratory equipment will you use?

In our MSc Medical Laboratory Science syllabus, you will find a specific section dedicated to the diverse equipment and materials of a clinical laboratory. In the introductory module, you will also learn the basics of cleaning, disinfecting and sterilising laboratory equipment and materials.

To further develop your knowledge, you will also have the opportunity to carry out professional internships in a range of companies. This way, you will be able to become familiar with the different machines and the most advanced equipment used for spectroscopy and centrifugation, as well as with mixing, separation, vacuum, and thermal techniques.
